Thanksgiving
November 22, 2009
I would like to take a moment to remind you all that drinking tea is one of the best things you can do after eating a big meal. Anyone know of any special occasion coming up in which you might be eating a major, fatty meal? I’ll let you think about that for a moment while I tell you about some of the benefits of drinking tea before and after a meal: it helps you digest your food better, burn fat, feel like a million bucks [my personal opinion - not necessarily fact], and in the long run, this practice can help you lower your blood pressure and lose weight. So, have a cup right before you set out that big Thanksgiving meal and then, after feasting, wait a little bit while the food settles nicely into your stomach and have another.
Of course, do not forget to offer it to your guests you incredible host you. Remember: a good tea drinker is a good social tea drinker.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
